Pre-Launch

Building excitement and anticipation in advance of your launch is crucial as it creates a large and active audience on day one. The campaign's pre-launch can be one of the best times to build excitement and awareness of the upcoming raise. It's also the perfect time to test messaging, call-to-actions, and marketing channels.

There are four main pillars for a successful pre-launch.

01. Lead Generation 👥

You should start building and growing your email list before the launch of your campaign. An effective email list allows you to build momentum from the start, which plays a huge role in the success of your campaign. Setting up a landing page with email signup is essential to begin building a list of potential investors before the campaign launches.
‍

For example, the landing page of your website can promote the campaign, but for the users to see your pitch deck, they would need to enter their email addresses. This will help you build an email list of interested parties before the launch of your campaign. Additionally, if you are doing events or trade shows before the launch of your campaign, you can utilize the email list from your event sign-up page.

02. Content Marketing 📱

Create content that highlights your company’s mission and highlights that an exciting announcement is around the corner. This can be in the form of blog posts, LinkedIn posts, emails, and more. Video advertising is becoming an increasingly popular medium, especially with the rise of Instagram reels, TikTok, and the continued dominance of Youtube. We recommend creating a strategy to target investors with video ads, depending on where they are in their journey.

03. Digital Marketing 🧑🏻‍💻

Start sharing your content with your existing email list of customers and social media followers. Educating your customer base on what equity crowdfunding is and sharing educational resources can prepare them as potential investors when you launch.
‍

‍

04. Influencer Strategy 🤳🏻

Start connecting with VIP customers and influencers in the industry to see if they're interested in investing and if they can share the opportunity with their networks.
